Installing a Track Light System? Here's What You Need to Know...

Track lighting is either assembled or can be retrofit – customers need to determine the type of track system if they want to add to an existing track system or are looking for replacements. The track heads you buy might look exactly the same as the ones you’re trying to replace, but the connectors could be different.

When retrofitting a track system, make sure you:
  •  Know if you have a single circuit or two circuit track
  • Determine he correct track lengths and connectors
  • Determine the power source
  • Know which fixtures to add – spot heads or pendants
